Thanks a lot, really useful! One think we might consider is to filter out what to send on the channel based on the sensitivity of the information (eg we don't want to expose publicly that the X service runs Y version which has a well known public vulnerability)
Another suggestion: how about to send /notify messages instead of normal ones?
