I'd prefer to keep the forums integrated in the single sign on. I only know the forums from the "outside view", but my guess (based on how the login is done today) is that they use the login proxy - which we also [1] use for the wikis and some other services in Nuremberg.
Hi Thanks for chipping in :) So user migration as in usernames/email would happen as well (part of vB), or if the don't exist need to create a new login, but will still line up with the forum software?
Per, AFAIK you already got the files for the forums. Can you please have a look how the login is done? If grep -r HTTP_X_USERNAME gives you a result, then it's really using the login proxy.
@Per, can you confirm you have the Forum vB data dump now? -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° SUSE Knowledge Partner (Linux Counter #276890) Tumbleweed 20200128 | GNOME Shell 3.34.3 | 5.4.14-1-default Intel DQ77MK MB | Xeon E3-1245 V2 X8 @ 3.40 GHz | Intel/Nvidia up 0:25, 2 users, load average: 1.08, 1.46, 1.19 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: heroes+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: heroes+owner@opensuse.org
