PSK

I know this has been asked before but I have not seen a satisfactory answer. Has anyone got gpsk31, as provided with SUSE 9.1, working properly? I can see that one needs to change the personal details within the config file, but is there anything else I need to do? The comport setting appears to be correct as I can trigger the transmitter by clicking the tx button but nothing appears on the receive screen. And what about the frequency setting? The default setting is 1000. Hz? In case I get no answer to that, does anyone have another recommendation for a good linux psk program? And if so, where to get it? Gervase gw4urj
