People,
I saw that GNOME 3.0 is finally out and is available as Live Images or even as optional installation for some distros including OpenSUSE.
It is real? How to do it in practice on 11.4?
Cheers,

I think the repository will be ready soon here[1] as Frederic told[2] in his blog.

Best regards,
Hello Andi,
I've attempted to install first the 64 bit Live Image as virtual machine on my VirtualBox-4.0.4 (Oracle version) that of course refused to start since until now only 32 bits systems are allowed on this app. (FWIK) so then I downloaded and booted the GNOME 3 Live Image 32 bits and finally I can see what the new DE looks as.
Hope that soon it will be possible to upgrade just the DE within 11.4 as it has been possible during 2.0 epoch just configuring Yast repositories then running zypper ref; zypper dup.
Thanks for your reply.
Best Regards,
