[opensuse-gnome] Customizing OpenSUSE 11 gnome live cd
I am looking to create a customized gnome live cd based on OpenSUSE 11. I have the image working from a USB key, and now I am working on customizing the squashfs portion. When the live cd is fully booted, the user 'linux' has a home directory. In /home/linux/Desktop there are a few icons that appear: "Live Installer", "Online Help" and "openSUSE". These are all .desktop files. The "Online Help" and "openSUSE" icons look to be copied from /usr/share/dist/desktop-files. The "Live Installer" icon appears to be copied from /usr/share/applications/YaST2/ directory. My question is, what copies them there? I want to customize what appears on the desktop, and so far /etc/skel and /etc/profile.d don't appear to be the ones who are placing the icons. In the squashfs, the user 'linux' is already added, but /home/linux/Desktop does not exist yet, so this is created when the user logs in.
