[opensuse-gnome] Disable Printer Notifications?
How can one disable print notifications in GNOME Shell? There is no such option in "Notifications" settings. I tried "gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.print-notifications active false" but it has no effect -- Adam Tauno Williams <mailto:awilliam@whitemice.org> GPG D95ED383 Systems Administrator, Python Developer, LPI / NCLA -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Which ones? :-) I'm seeing two kind of print notifications here. One from GNOME, and one which I think is from system-config-printer-applet. I guess this package should be removed. (not sure if it's installed by default, or if it's a leftover from an upgrade here) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

$ sudo rpm -e system-config-printer-applet This seems to have stopped the notifications. And the Printers under the GNOME settings tools still appears and is functional. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
