[opensuse-gnome] Major bugs to focus on for last few days of 11.3 development
Hi all, Generally speaking, we seem to be doing good, with no big major issue in GNOME for 11.3. However, we should make sure to focus during the last few days we have. Here's a list of bugs that should be of priority: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609409 update applet does not see available updates This bug is a blocker. We have to fix it. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591072 Application-browser keeps "New applications" forever instead of expiring them as appropriate Not a blocker, but highly visible. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=380665 Packagekit: Change "Software updates" to "Software update configuration" Not a blocker, but again quite visible. One issue, though, is that it might require a string change, which is bad at this stage. If you want to help with one of those, please tell it here. We can assist you, if needed. Is there any other important issue that you think should be fixed? Both of these:- https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559550 Switch to sonar icon theme by default. The meta-theme now does suggest the sonar-icon-theme, but it is not part of the Live-CD or default install. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=595912 Remove menu items from application-browser duplicated in gnome-control-centre. The gnome- prefixed menu already fixes this, but if that is not included it would be good to have some way of blocking the duplicated items from appearing in the application-browser. Definitely not major. Nice to have, but not major. We were hoping that jimmac could reduce the size of this package. Hopefully, he'll still be able to do this.

See my mail in the thread about this. Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Is the print module fixed? I get a crash when trying to add a network printer. In my mind this is a blocker as well. I'll upgrade to factory and test again, but as of about a week ago this was still broken. Never heard of that. Is there a bug about this crash? Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Just maybe bootup time(discussed on the factory mailing). I can see no progress here in factory 0673. Still a lot of time with black screen. -- S pozdravom / Best regards, Rasto -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
Probably not important enough to warrant the 'major' label but definitely an important issue to me and anyone using mtp based mp3 players: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=614657 Alan. 2010/6/16 Rastislav Krupanský <rastislav.krupansky@gmail.com>:
