[opensuse-factory] ecryptfs broken in recent updates
OK - no-one replied to my previous mails, when I thought my problem was with keyring stuff. But it's clear that the ecryptfs stuff is broken since (probably) yesterday or the day before. (And it's not just the kernel module, because installing an older kernel does not fix it. And it's not the ecryptfs-utils, because they haven't changed during this time. So it must be more subtle.) I've rolled back to 20170610 and everything works OK. Is anyone else seeing problems with ecryptfs? Any insight from people who understand this stuff would be really good. Anyway, I'll open a bug tomorrow. -- ============================ Roger Whittaker roger@disruptive.org.uk ============================ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Apologies - I don't know how I missed it. Thanks for confirming - the logs you showed are exactly what I see. I'll create a bug later today and post the number here. -- ============================ Roger Whittaker roger@disruptive.org.uk https://notes.smuvelious.org ============================ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
I've opened a bug. https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1045886 As I've written there, this problem looks as if it was introduced with the latest version of systemd. After rolling back to systemd-232-10.2, I see success with ecryptfs-setup-private, which was failing before for a new user. -- ============================ Roger Whittaker roger@disruptive.org.uk ============================ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
