[opensuse-factory] drop xsane with default KDE installation
Hi, Do we really need xsane with default KDE installation? skanlite is simple and powerful app and it should be fair enough. -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards, Mariusz Fik, openSUSE Community Member
I think we do because xsane is not desktop dependent. It will work with fvwm2 up and is small. Now, I will ask if anyone has gotten a Brother MFC 7840W scanner on USB to even be seen by "hwinfo --scanner". I have Brother's scan driver installed. And the /et/c/udev/rules.d/55-* does have the correct product info. Trouble is they are the same as the printer On 04/26/2010 05:42 PM, Mariusz Fik wrote:

Yes we do, Just because you do not use does not mean no one else does. Does scanlite allow scanning multiple documents into one PDF? And as Donn stated it is DT agnostic.
