[opensuse-factory] Multimedia.....video.
Does anyone have any idea what file(s) I'm missing or what isn't set properly? ALL media players will play movie clips (wmv) but I only get audio....no video. 'Same for DVDs. I just did a 11.0 update....over 1,000 files....still have the problem. I'm using KDE 3.* Thanks! Also try to add packman repo. It contains all win32-codecs you could need. Cheers, Petri Fred A. Miller wrote:

Having the same problem with Packman's Gstreamer packages over here. Usually they just work. Maybe a problem over there? Am Samstag, den 07.06.2008, 01:13 -0400 schrieb Fred A. Miller:

Some apps. now work.....but not when the file, like a wmv format, is chosen.....only from the menu. I added some files but have no idea what it was that now allows me to view wmvs, DVDs, etc. Fred -- Linux is an old Latin word meaning, "I don't have to support your Windows anymore." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
