Hi, I believe that I found the bug that is causing this issue. Please check the following link : http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12444 This is exactly the problem I am having and it seems that it is not related to the KDE version itself, as the this bug identifies the issue for KDE4.1.3. The cause identified is : Caused by: commit 7c1c2871a6a3a114853ec6836e9035ac1c0c7f7a Author: Dave Airlie Date: Fri Nov 28 14:22:24 2008 +1000 drm: move to kref per-master structures. Good News. The latest version in Kernel:HEAD repository solves this problem. The version there is 2.6.29-rc6-git1. This kernel works as expected and now we just have to wait when this version will appear in the Factory repository.
