Hi, I believe that I found the bug that is causing this issue. Please check the following link : http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12444 This is exactly the problem I am having and it seems that it is not related to the KDE version itself, as the this bug identifies the issue for KDE4.1.3.
