[opensuse-factory] Submitting items in Factory to Leap
Hi all, I just wanted to send this info out to those of you who may consider submitting your packages for Leap. A list that updates every six hours shows packages in Factory, which are not yet in Leap - https://forum.suse.org.cn/leap.html Package maintainers will need to submit items in Factory to Leap if they want them in 42.1. Maintainers and developers submitting these packages are asked to add the information to the Leap Features template on the wiki - https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Major_features42.1 This will help us highlight your contributions and provide information about new features and versions in Leap. If you email me, I can highlight some of your efforts and new items on news.opensuse.org. If you're at FrOSCon this weekend, some see me. Take care and thank you for everything you do for the project and FOSS. Shouldn't this at least be posted in opensuse-packaging also? I think Richard Brown tried to get the word out there once, http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2015-08/msg00020.html If posting here and there is not sufficient, maybe opensuse-announce might be helpful, but then, who knows where all the maintainers and developers hang out and why they aren't, yet, submitting items to Leap? Time is short, folks! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
