[opensuse-factory] Re: New Tumbleweed snapshot 20150812 released - GUI still crashing
Hi *, combination plasmashell/kwin_x11 and nouveau driver still crashing after hibernate/resume cycle and also sometimes during normal usage of the GUI. Any chance to get this fixed, before the next official release for openSuSE Leap? At best, please report to upstream bugzilla.freedesktop.org. If you need any assist from openSUSE side, feel free to put me to Cc in bugzilla. Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

thx for your answer, but there already is a bug report on bugzilla:
It's a redhat bugzilla, rather a downstream. The upstream development takes place in bugzilla.freedesktop.org, so it's still worth to report to there. Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

If your concerned about this bug being in Leap, your first step should be to confirm that the bug exists in Leap Remember Tumbleweed == Leap - while there is some commonality, you need to confirm the presence of bugs on the Leap distribution and cannot assume it will inherit whatever causes the problems from Tumbleweed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I got your point, but that would mean to install a third system. I still have an openSuSE 13.2 and a Tumbleweed system. To have a third one is really a problem in regards of time and hardware.

I don't assume it, indeed I don't hope it will be the case, but I'm afraid it will be. Bye. Michael. -- Michael Hirmke -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

nevertheless I installed the actual build today and I got the exact same error messages and the same distorted screen after a resume and when running graphic intensive programs. Bye.
