[opensuse-factory] Request to add yast2-packager-webpin into the base patterns
Hi all. If is enough space on LiveCDs yast2-packager-webpin could be added into the install patterns. I think many new users won´t know this feature exists till won´t be installed by default. What do you think? Should i file request, or it's not even worth thinking about? -- S pozdravom / Best regards, Rasto -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

http://lizards.opensuse.org/2009/01/09/webpin-search-in-yast-for-opensuse-11... talks about it being available in 11.2 I do hope that this is still going to happen. houghi -- Always listen to experts. One thing. What would be nice is that you see the version of the software in the main screen as well. Now you eed to go past all of then to find the one you want. houghi -- Always listen to experts. If you click on the search menu item in yast2 qt software manager, it asks to install the package if it isn't installed but it doesn't work with factory repo yet. See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=431939 which is the reason that you cannot search factory. I know it doesn´t work with factory and i voted for bug 431939 a time ago (and you too :-). But that isn´t subject of my request. I´m talking about yast2 webpin module, which isn´t installed by default via patterns. If you wanna use it, you have to install yast2-packager-webpin package. Do you understand, what i mean? -- S pozdravom / Best regards, Rasto -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Yes I do now. You should file a bug but maybe it's been left out until the proper 11.2 repo is up and running. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
