This is based on the Rails pattern made for our SDK10. Could you tell me what I should change for 10.2? Must have (if pattern is selected this is mandatory): ruby Optional (if pattern is selected this gets installed but can be removed by the user): NONE Optional (if pattern is selected this does not get installed but can be done by the user): rubygem-rails eruby ruby-RMagick ruby-RMagick-doc ruby-devel ruby-doc-html ruby-doc-ri ruby-examples ruby-fcgi ruby-gdchart ruby-gettext ruby-ldap ruby-mysql rubygem-FlexMock rubygem-RedCloth rubygem-abstract rubygem-actionmailer rubygem-actionpack rubygem-actionwebservice rubygem-activerecord rubygem-activesupport rubygem-capistrano rubygem-daemons rubygem-erubis rubygem-gem_plugin rubygem-mongrel rubygem-needle rubygem-net-sftp rubygem-net-ssh rubygem-rake rubygem-ruby-postgres rubygems lighttpd Is that list complete based on the packages we have in factory? Should I move packages around in the lists? I found a Ruby pattern as well (see below) - and all the packages in the Ruby ones are in Rails as well. Could one of the Ruby on Rails experts create one or two patterns out of these? We can have the Rails pattern require the Ruby one if desired... if this really should be a rails pattern you should move the following packages here: rubygem-rails rubygem-mongrel those will attract all needed packages from the list below. namely: rubygem-actionmailer rubygem-actionpack rubygem-actionwebservice rubygem-activerecord rubygem-activesupport rubygem-daemons rubygem-gem_plugin rubygems rubygem-rake
Optional (if pattern is selected this does not get installed but can be done by the user): eruby ruby-RMagick ruby-RMagick-doc ruby-devel ruby-doc-html ruby-doc-ri ruby-examples ruby-fcgi ruby-gdchart ruby-gettext ruby-ldap ruby-mysql rubygem-FlexMock rubygem-abstract rubygem-RedCloth rubygem-actionmailer rubygem-actionpack rubygem-actionwebservice rubygem-activerecord rubygem-activesupport rubygem-capistrano rubygem-daemons rubygem-erubis rubygem-gem_plugin rubygem-needle rubygem-net-sftp rubygem-net-ssh rubygem-rake rubygem-ruby-postgres rubygems lighttpd

darix p.s.: the ruby project in the buildservice has a few more. but i think i will leave them there for now. -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ok, I remove them since I do not want to list dependencies.
Optional (if pattern is selected this does not get installed but can be done by the user): eruby ruby-RMagick ruby-RMagick-doc ruby-devel ruby-doc-html ruby-doc-ri ruby-examples ruby-fcgi ruby-gdchart ruby-gettext ruby-ldap ruby-mysql
I guess, I can remove all from above, since we have a separate Ruby pattern. Correct?

No.
Should I move packages around in the lists?
And add others as appropriate. I would apprecate a complete list back - or tell me what and how to change...

Yes, for now... Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
