[opensuse-factory] Something wrong with PAM still in RC1
I can ssh normally to 11.2 and 11.3 servers from konsole. Attempting fish or sftp gives this on server: error: PAM: Authentication failure for vahis from a88-112-9-172.elisa-laajakaista.fi When ssh keys are made, then connection works fine though. Then, another message, this is on the RC1 client logs: Feb 13 09:00:01 a88-112-9-172 /usr/sbin/cron[27168]: pam_listfile(crond:account): Couldn't open /etc/cron.allow All I know both messages have PAM in them... -- Vahis -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

This is now solved in factory. Bugs: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=673826 and https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=662433 I'm not sure, if it'll make it to RC2. Vita -- Vitezslav Cizek
Vita: I don't see your fixes ("fix quiet option") in 11.4 repo check the : osc cat openSUSE:11.4 cronie cronie.changes | less osc cat openSUSE:11.4 pam pam.changes | less or http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/ And .. rc2 was already released : http://software.opensuse.org/developer/en Coolo : would you be so kind and could you please check this fixes (for cronie : sr#62702,for pam : sr#62693) ? they just fix periodical warning messages in /var/log/messages produced by cron due to incorrect pam rule,Could we forward them to 11.4 repo before GM release ? thanks On Fri, Feb 25, 2011 at 5:15 PM, Vita Cizek <vcizek@suse.cz> wrote:
