Hello mates,
What happened to Kmix bass and treble settings in RC2? Am I missing package?
It almost appears crippled in it's present condition.

No idea what could cause your problems, but I have two guesses you can pursue:
1) for some reason you don't have pulseaudio installed/running (anymore)
2) phonon-backend-gstreamer doesn't support equalizer, phonon-backend-xine does.
