Hello all! As some of you may be aware, with the jump to Python 2.7 with openSUSE 11.4, some packages such as Wicd <http://wicd.sf.net> have been broken. I've been working on a new package for Wicd which takes some of the latest changes from their (mostly stable) Launchpad tree and packages them for 11.4 and Factory: <https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=wicd&project=home%3Aagentdero%3Awicd> Currently you should consider this package INSECURE as it has not passed a proper security audit by the SUSE Security Team (Wicd uses D-Bus). Nevertheless, I would appreciate additional testing from any existing Wicd users out there. - R.
