[opensuse-factory] [BUG 852620] xf86-video-intel online update regresses
Hi, The xf86-video-intel driver in Tumbleweed has the problem mentioned in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852620 that was already fixed in Factory. Is it possible to push this new version to the Tumbleweed repos? It should go to the update channel - and then show up for tumbleweed as well AFAIK, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer,HRB16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, not *specifically* Tumbleweed but indeed is utilized by Tumbleweed and provided via "openSUSE Current OSS" and "openSUSE Current updates". I have nvidia video but xv86-video-intel in present on my system. ?? -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Which mean's it's 13.1, so factory isn't the best place to ask about this, sorry.

Do you have other xf86-video* too? I'm pretty sure xf86-video-intel is part of a meta-package that includes 20+ drivers for antique hardware as well as more current, including ati, but not nouveau, which goes by a different name, xorg-x11-driver-video-nouveau. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
