Error msg.
I'm not going to be your personal support person. Please stick to accepted processes -> Bugzilla!
(To help you with this very issue: The inst source you are trying to access, is valid and should be functional -- I'v just double checked it. You are most likely hitting a bug here.)
Ok thnx, in smart the channel is not seperately showing, only when edit the channels, it is shown.
Report a bug and attach logfiles as per http://en.openSUSE.org/Bugs/YaST
And another remark (please don't take these personal!): Posting to a mailinglist very frequently by just posting "ps ax" output and refering to your subject isn't going to help you and us a lot.
I understand, but when I notice an app that is just doing nothing, but consuming valuable resources, and that for this long time, i think should not go unnoticed.
Best, Christoph

Why do you think that zmd is not doing anything? You can't know this because zmd does its work invisibly. You are, again, confusing zmd, zen-updater and rug which each other. These are three different programs: zen-uodater is the visible one, zmd is the invisible one and rug is another one. Just uninstall zmd, rug and zen-updater and be happy. Everything else in this discussion is already known and we really don't need to explain the Zenworks architecture yet again from the beginning. I am aware of the fact that zmd is the invisible one... The idea, that 'invisible ones' doing vague things in my pc's, is not of my likings, it is not that they have to be visible, as long as i am aware , or cann see, when i want just 'what' they are doing with my cpu-resource.. I can not imagine, anybody who would dissagree with me on this.. (if so: shoot.)
