this is another obvious, but not helpful statement. I wouldn't use Linux, if I didn't know that.

So in conclusion, you knew what kind of responses a request involving such closed software would elicit, and yet you chose to post... And what too is - or should be - obvious, is that you just have to keep running an old system then if you "need" that old software. I hear some ATMs still run Windows 3/NT/XP (take a pick)...

openSUSE Tumbleweed is about updated and supported software, so it's unlikely there would be old version compatible to some specific software. If you need old version you could try to fork revision which is compatible to that program from [1] to your home repository in OBS and build it for Tumbleweed, add your home repository to system and install that package version.

thx for your answer. To solve the actual problem, I just reverted to the before last snapshot and reinstalled the latest one with the option to not delete packages that are no longer present in the repos. As long as this works, I don't have the need to compile anything. I hope there will be a newer Receiver version sometimes, so that compiling libwebkit wouldn't be nesessary at all.

I have no need to compile it on your computer, you can create home repository in OBS and build it there using standard scheme.
