I've been wondering this for a couple of days, too. Isn't that the package I reported as having checksum errors in the repository? I don't think I ever got a reply to that one

You can't update a package that is already installed, that is why you're getting the errors Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I think I have done it before, maybe not if it's not possible :) How about this then: rpm -e bundle-lang-gnome-en-11.2-14.2.noarch.rpm error: package bundle-lang-gnome-en-11.2-14.2.noarch.rpm is not installed Vahis -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Friends: now "zypper dup" is working fine; I first removed the packages that zypper was proposing for re-installation with "zypper rm", among these some bundle-lang-gnome, as bundle-lang-gnome-it-11.2-14.2, bundle-lang-gnome-en-11.2-14.2, bundle-lang-gnome-ar-11.2-14.2. The updated versions, which are getting installed, by re-launching "zypper dup" are "11.2-16.1". Indeed, rpm -e expects an rpm name, not a file name. Try rpm -e bundle-lang-gnome-en-11.2 Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Did you try ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 workaround as stated in M6 announcement page? Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Well, that can't be used on a fresh install, where is also broken (tested yesterday on PPC and x86). Bye, CzP -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Technically not impossible (you can run zypper manually in a terminal to install only a few problematic pacakges), but yeah, obviously no reasonable solution :) Takashi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
