[opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed - Review of the Week 2015/35
Hi, Dominique is on well deserved vacation. Development didn't stop though, so here's a quick status update: == Factory status - perl 5.22 was accepted into Factory. Therefore all perl modules have to be rebuilt. Some fail to build with the new perl version: https://build.opensuse.org/project/status/openSUSE:Factory - systemd is still stuck in Staging:F https://build.opensuse.org/project/staging_projects/openSUSE:Factory/F Some help is needed to resolve the bug that blocks it: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=943312 - Plasma 5.4 (https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.4.0.php) got stuck in Staging:D due to a build failure of libkgeomap and open license questions for kdepim (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351752). The plan is to separate the applications in a differnt staging project to get Plasma in ASAP. - In general Factory development is a bit slower than usual as many package maintainers are on vacation. == openSUSE Leap status openSUSE Leap integrated quite some packages from the SLE12-SP1 beta version. From a technical perspective the overall state looks good enough for a milestone. The next milestone is planned for next week (https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap). Be reminded that packages outside the default install may not automatically be released for Leap. There are currently 770 open package submit requests from Factory to Leap that still need to be acknowledged by the respective package maintainer. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
