Just submit the new packages from there, G:Cinnamon will automatically become the devel project for those packages. Vincent, Our 'beloved' release manager declined my submissions stating GNOME:Cinnamon wasn't a valid devel repository to openSUSE:Factory. So I shop around for more information... Now I really don't know what to do... NM 2012/1/26 Vincent Untz <vuntz@opensuse.org>:

Usually, devel projects start with "devel:". Perhaps the decision was hastily taken based on that pattern? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:How_to_contribute_to_Factory I followed that... I've emailed previous asking for GNOME:Cinnamon to become devel project, I followed the book. NM 2012/1/26 Claudio Freire <klaussfreire@gmail.com>:

Pretty sure this was an automatic decline, in order to avoid adding more and more devel projects. Let's wait for coolo. Pfff... this automatic declines shouldn't be flagged as normal users, this is misleading and affects people's motivation and leads to security problems... A quick example... if my project is already flagged as development project for Factory and if I know that packages are accept in auto mode, I can try to slip in a trojan or anything bad for the users... I can't say I agree with it... My apologies to coolo for taking the fire barrage. NM 2012/1/27 Vincent Untz <vuntz@opensuse.org>:

They are only declined automatically. If they look good to the script, it's forwarded to a human. And they _are_ flagged as automatic because "factory-auto" group is declining the review - I'm just part of the group. But yes, it's my plan to create a new account for that task.
