Hi, I'm a maintainer of nginx-ingress-controller package which is an implementation of ingress controller in Kubernetes. IC takes care of exposing services for the external access from the Internet. nginx-ingress-controller is quite uncomfortable to maintain. It depends on nginx plugins which sometimes are older than 3 years, have no updates, are not maintained and don't have release tags. We already have one better alternative IC packages in Kubic - it's called Traefik. I'm also going to work on packaging Istio soon, which comes with its own IC implementation.
