[opensuse-factory] Heads-up: uaccess/ACLs broken (no sound, no bluetooth....)
Hi, as a heads up: factory seems to have problems with the uaccess-tag in undev-rules adding ACLs to devices for the logged in users. In my case, bluetooth-applet was not showing up (no permission on /dev/rfkill) and sound did not work (only dummy output in pavucontrol available). https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=809918 The quick "fix" for me was (as root, after logging in) chown seife /dev/rfkill /dev/snd/* have fun, seife -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Looks like a kernel-3.9 issue, so not really factory stuff. -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
