[opensuse-factory] Finding Leap devel images
Yesterday, I was not able to find Leap devel or test images (ISOs) or other installation sources of devel versions. I started at http://www.opensuse.org Where must I click? -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE Linux GmbH PES / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

software.opensuse.org -> then in the "Leap" section "View Testing" and they are all right there. Or alternatively they will live in this link below http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.1/iso/ -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Ok, thanks for the info. I think a link from https://www.opensuse.org/ to https://software.opensuse.org is missing. On www, we have a Contribute section, but from there is no easy way to https://software.opensuse.org —instead, you'll always end up on overwhelming wiki pages. Pages with too much text and detailed info.

Hi there, I was looking for the download link for Leap Testing from the homepage as well. I've mentioned it on the release tweet on twitter, but I think that got lost. Apparently you have to go to "Install Leap" and then on the top menu to "Download". Then you can choose on the right between Leap and Leap Testing. Cheers, Bernd Am Mi., 6. <https://www.opensuse.org/> Entry page --> Leap <https://www.opensuse.org/#Leap> Leap page --> Install Leap Now another browser tab opens: <https://software.opensuse.org/distributions/leap> --> top menu, Leap download page with instructions --> click "download" <https://software.opensuse.org/distributions> Another page for choosing between "Tumbleweed" and "Leap" appears, similar to the first page in content, but older. Here, on the right hand panel there are two buttons: "View Leap" and "View Testing" Click on "View Testing" <https://software.opensuse.org/distributions/testing> That's the place. It is certainly convoluted and not self evident. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)
