¿Applying for a new experimental/devel project?
I have been building VSCode from source for a while in my home:…. I would like to make these builds more official, but they're unfit for devel:languages:nodejs due to the large amount of (frequently breaking) build dependencies: — electron is in d:l:nodejs — esbuild is in d:l:javascript, but i currently need an older version (0.17 was a breaking change) — binaryen isn't in Factory at all (I use the SRPM from Fedora) — clang ≥ 14 (Factory has a new enough version, but Leap hasn't) Where can i apply for a new project that would be set up similarly to network:im:signal (another Electron app with similar problems)? (I suggest the name ‘devel:tools:ide:vscode’)

Contact the maintainers of devel:tools:ide [1] and ask them to create the vscode subproject for you, and to make you the maintainer. Regards, Christian Boltz [1] they are listed on https://build.opensuse.org/project/users/devel:tools:ide Login to OBS to see their mail addresses --
I assume that this is a "systemd" feature (or misfeature). Of course. Systemd also ate your kitten. [> Neil Rickert and Andrei Borzenkov in opensuse-support]
