[opensuse-factory] Does anyone care for BSD games?
Hi, I don't have an oppinion on this myself, but the changelog looks like other people care - so I'm opening this delete request for general discussion: Should we drop bsd-games or not? https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/257553 Greetings, Stephan -- Ma muaß weiterkämpfen, kämpfen bis zum Umfalln, a wenn die ganze Welt an Arsch offen hat, oder grad deswegn. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

There are are other ways to solve file conflicts without dropping the other package. Debian solved this by renaming fish in bsd-games to go-fish in 2005. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Greetings, Stephan
I vote "NO" since there are apps in that package that are actually useful outside of being a "game" or rather amusement, namely the morsecode translator. Guess /usr/games wasn't so bad after all, hm? :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

What??? And lose Adventure??? I got my first modem thanks to that game. One time, when my wife visited my office, I showed her Adventure, running on a VAX 11/780. She asked if I could get that game on my computer (an IMSAI 8080). I said no, but if we had a modem... I was soon the proud owner of a 300B manual modem. ;-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Why not move the stuff back to /usr/games? Or rename the conflicting files. And play 'mille' ;) -dnh -- *So viele schöne Fragezeichen in meinem Kopf* ;-) [Moritz Esser in suse-linux] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I vote for renameing the conflicting files, even the Debian guys, that are called slow by many, did this years ago. - Yamaban -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
