[opensuse-factory] Adding custom.cfg to grub2 directory disables the boot process in openSUSE 12.2
Hello List mates, I've been reading that a custom.cfg file can be added to the grub2 directory instead of the 40_custom file for customizing the Grub2 menu. After creating and rebooting my PC I found that my system would not boot up. Do I need to add a line to the /etc/default/grub file? Any thoughts? Cheers! Hello List mates,

I can't reproduce it. I tried with empty custom.cfg and custom.cfg that contains some garbage and it boots just fine. And I myself have something there that adds menuentry (I forget to remove it every time). Most likely you had some other changes before but did not reboot. What does "system would not boot" mean? Do you get some error? What is the content of custom.cfg? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
