[opensuse-factory] iniparser will see a delete request soon
Hi, with https://build.suse.de/request/show/62782 the Samba package no longer requires libiniparser-devel at build-time. On my Factory system nothing complained when libinparser0 got removed. Please speak up if there still is any use case to keep the iniparser package sources available in the openSUSE Build Service. ini files do not seem to be too popular on Linux - that, or everybody is fascinated so much by them that they write their own parser too. So, what will samba use then? libini_config from ding-libs (from sssd project)? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

No, we're using tiniparser (tiny version of iniparser). Cf 8bbf901f9349e9b33caa24fd2a2333c060952646 from git.samba.org. Cheers, Lars -- Lars Müller [ˈlaː(r)z ˈmʏlɐ] Samba Team + SUSE Labs SUSE Linux, Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany
