Hi In fate.suse.com, we have FATE#320018 saying we need ship devilspie2. I talked with Frederic Crozat, and we decided to push this package firstly to opensuse-factory and then SLE. So I'd like to introduce this package to opensuse-factory. The purpose to introduce this package is described in that fate. I'll describe it here in case you cannot access it. We'd like to have devilspie2 to allows expert users to create window size and position rules using a configuration file (written in lua). The state of the upstream project is fine. There are several developers still maintaining it, which is good. You can find the home page of the project here and git log of the project here. - Jonathan
If it is to be an openSUSE package, would it not be reasonable to recreate fate.suse.com #320018 in features.openSUSE.org so devilspie2 has a full set of information that is readily available to any an all current and future participants in the openSUSE project?
