[opensuse-factory] No Updates for openSUSE 13.1 systemd?
Hi! This is the second time I've been told to use Base:System for get a working systemd. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893797 Why is the stock systemd from openSUSE 13.1 not worth fixing? Does every user have to use Base:System to get a sane system? Sorry guys, I'm kind of pissed. -- Thanks, //richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Adding random devel projects to released distro certainly is not the intended way to ship fixes. In general it's up to the package maintainer to decide whether a bug fix is worth releasing a maintenance update. There's no obligation to do so. It also makes sense to cumulate fixes to avoid releasing updates too frequently. Maybe that's the case here. Sometimes nice words or offering a helping hand help to speed things up or motivate people. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
