[opensuse-factory] howto escape 800x600 with M3's mga driver?
Back in http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-xorg/2010-08/msg00007.html using similar subject line I was able to escape 800x600 into 1600x1200 & 2048x1536. Current 11.3 xorg.conf is http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.conf.08-1600x1200x120x24bpp-mga113-k... & Xorg.0.log is http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.0.log-113-mga-kt880-1600x1200x120 Now on M3 using same machine and exact same xorg.conf I have the original problem back producing Xorg.0.log http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/xorg.0.log-kt880-114M3-800x600 Down at the last 1/3 of the log I see M3 isn't picking up more than minimal default modes, but I don't see why unless (EE) MGA(0): [dri] MGADRIScreenInit failed (libdri.a too old) has something to do with it. Can anyone else tell? Is there a new bug in server 1.9.2 that needs filing, or one someone knows about that I didn't find? Does whatever provides libdri.a need a rebuild? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg.
