[opensuse-factory] HTTP install: could not find the openSUSE Repository
This happened last night, and happened multiple times again minutes ago, attempting to use download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss as source. In manual setup (trying again) it wants IP address of the HTTP server. Why is initial (text) installation process always unable to use the hostname here (same as for many years), when supplying hostname with nameserver on cmdline normally works OK? Full cmdline: install=http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/ lang=en keytable=us hostname=myhost hostip=192.168.1.2/24 gateway=192.168.1.1 nameserver=8.8.8.8 kexec_reboot=0 video=1152x864 ipv6.disable=1 (now with 195.135.221.134 IP of HTTP server installation is progressing) -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
