Hm, depends on what you want to achieve: 1. mount all SD cards 2. mount any USB storage when it becomes available 3. mount some storage with a known name/label For the last point, you can use one of the symlinks in /dev/disk/by-*. For the other ones, I think you have to write some script which either parses the output of --monitor/--dump respectively, or directly talk to udisks(2) via dbus.
