I already upgraded my system to the mentioned snapshot containing KDE Apps 16.12.0. I had some trouble opening Mails in Kontact/Kmail. After 2 seconds a window appears stating something with "retrieving..." and akonadiserver crashing sometimes on system shutdown and closing Kontact. Thus, I was not able to open a mail.
Went back to the versions from Factory_Standard and here all is fine again.
Did anybody already test it too?

Did you also try sending a mail in kmail? For me, this is broken beginning from TW 20161217, too. The mail to be sent is stuck in outbox.
