Hi,
updated factory x86_64 today, and i'm left with a semi-functional system (no zypper, yast, kde4,...). trying to run one of the above I get:
/lib64/libgcc_s_so.1: version 'GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6)
Do I just have to wait for the next factory update ?
That doesn't sound like something we changed. What's rpm -Vf /lib64/libgcc_s_so.1 ?
Greetings, Stephan
Hi !
rpm -Vf /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1
says nothing. (there was a _ instead of a ., i had to copy the output by hand, because the other machine is not on the net)
rpm -qf /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1
gives:
libgcc43-4.3.3_20081022-2.8 libgcc33-3.3.3-5.1
Is the fact that I have two libgcc's installed the source of the problem ?
Yes, both packages install /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 and the libgcc_s.so.1 from libgcc33-3.3.3-5.1 is the wrong version for zypper yast and kde4 . How did you manage to get both packages installed ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
