Fails to build, quite useless these days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is an easy to use caching proxy, e.g. to keep openSUSE RPMs around temporarily when several systems are upgraded or installed.
The package still exists (including the build failures) in https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/server:proxy/wwwoffle so if someone cares enough to maintain the package and fix the build failure, it should be possible to bring it back ;-)
The fails aren't dramatic. * Missing user/group due to changes in how system users are created in Leap15 / TW * scripts in /etc/ppp (could be dropped, imho)
So, update spec file and it should build again. Thanks for the hints! I modified the spec file so it builds for factory and Leap15.0, and created SR #599649.
I kept the scripts in /etc/ppp because they might still have some value for users with PPTP (or PPPoE). Would be great if the package could come back!
