Hi,
My touchpad is too sensitive on openSUSE 11.1 RC 1. I have
played with
xorg.conf without any luck yet. Any suggestions? Mine is a AlpsPS/2

GlidePoint according to hwinfo.
are you using the synaptics driver?
Yes, I am using the synaptics driver.
Section "InputDevice" Driver "synaptics" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "AccelFactor" "0.1" EndSection
Section "InputDevice" Driver "synaptics" Identifier "Mouse[3]" Option "AccelFactor" "0.1"
Option "FingerHigh" "17" Option "FingerLow" "14" EndSection
play a little with "AccelFactor", "FingerHigh", "FingerLow" there is a ksynaptics too.
OK. I will. Thanks :)
But why do you have two tocuhpad sections in Xorg.conf? Was this generated by Sax2?
Yes, it was generated by SaX2.
Then file a bug, two tochpads do not seem right ...
Done. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=457298

Hi all. is it possible to tune synaptics acceleration from gui (yast\sax) ? or is there are plans for accessing that option from gui? it is rather wanted option for normal notebook users, cuz global mouse sensitivity needs to be adjusted each time you want to switch from touchpad to external mouse.
