[09-14-15 11:13]: Does anyone know how you can mute sound with this new applet without turning down the volume to zero? With kmix it was just a right click and select "Mute"
The applet on my Tw System Tray has "Mute" as does pav. What *specific* applet and version amd distro ???
its the new applet that is a replacement for kmix.
I have Tw and up-to-date. I have seen no "new applet that is a replacement for kmix". So I now know no more that I did before.
i just found it thank to Knurpht-Gertjan Lettink's reply., click the speaker to the left of the slider.
Cannot click on Knurpht-Gertjan Lettink's reply nor a speaker left of any slider. I do have a "speaker" icon in the System Tray, but believe it is kmix. And a search of Knurpht-Gertjan Lettink's posts provides nothing related that I can discern.
wtf are you talking about? You have provided no information that gives me any direction.
The sun is shining but not much longer.
The sun went down!
Save yourself making an explanation. Francesco's post shows it is plasma5-pa which is not installed on my system. After installing it I see no advantage over kmix unless kmix is deprecated and removed it. I have pav which has same functions, anyway.
The sun will rise again, hopefully.
:o) Unfortunately its a bare minimum app with regards to information, its just called "Audio Volume", there is nothing about the description of the app in config dialog to help either, i.e. no author, no "About" info at all -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
