Is this resolved? It doesn't seem UI related, but there is an easy way to isolate the problem. Do the following work for you? sw_single with another UI bridge: # (as super-user:) /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base sw_single qt
This works basically: UI comes up, but it seems to be a little bit buggy. For example choosing packages in the list window doesn't work any more.
(or "ncurses" if you don't have yast-qt installed) The ncurses UI comes up as fallback for the qt UI and seems to work.
Check another tool. e.g.: $ /sbin/yast2 timezone
