Well, when I got that lockscreen last time (I think it was when I was waiting too long in GDM and somehow the sweep-to-unlock lockscreen kicked in there), I was not able to unlock. I guessed that I'd need to click and drag up or something like that but it did not work. Fortunately I was not logged in and could get out by simply rebooting the machine.
effortless gesture. Maybe would be a tad annoying if I had to use a touchpad (or horror if a trackpad), but everything's annoying with a touchpad/trackpad and you can always hit Escape or Enter.
I somehow seem to have broken gnome-screensaver in a way that it does not exhibit this sweep-to-unlock feature (I'm using gnome-screensaver from XFCE, and probably I'm missing some GTK3-Theme or have mis-configured the GTK3-setting or such, the unlock dialog looks very much like from the early 1990's which is totally fine for me, much better than the all-darkgrey-on-black-round-edges fancy new stuff :-)) So no need to "fix" anything for me. If it gets to annoy me, I'll just patch xscreensaver to make its unlock dialog behave like I want it to and use that instead of gnome-screensaver :-) I have accepted that I am not the target audience of the "big" desktops (but I wonder who is...). -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
