What attracted me to linux some years back was an aficionado telling me in roughly 2010 . . . "I can run my whole computer using linux from a 148MB floppy disk" . . . whereas, at that time my OSX machine needed 15GB of basic system data. So, I appreciate the "scalpel-like" efforts of Manjaro to "keep it tidy" . . . . Whether or not it actually addresses or doesn't address it, or didn't need to address it . . . is less important to this end user . . . . I was "happy" that my recent TW package exchange in response to the problem was **only** 1953 packages, when others had reported 4900+- . . . .
