I can't find out how to add applications to the task bar. When I choose edit panel, all the choices I have are to add widget add panel. Is the add application option hiding somewhere else.
Hi,
There isn't. Just drap&drop the application shortcut to the panel..

Luiz
Luiz, This is where the problem is. From the kickoff menu you CAN drag-n-drop an "application" to the task bar, but you CANNOT add an "application folder" to the taskbar in any way, shape form or fashion the way you can add a folder to the taskbar in KDE 3. Adding a folder to the taskbar is the only legitimate way to get the applications you want at your finger-tips without completely filling the taskbar up with a lot of silly icons. I use menu editor to create a folder under "Utilities/dcrTools" which itself has subfolders and then I fill it with the applications I want at my finger-tips. This is what we need the capability to add to the taskbar, not one application at a time.
