This can also be seen in other repositories, e.g. Application:Geo, where you have to install everything but the kitchen sink from there if you are in need of an application from Application:Geo, just because this repo seems TW oriented.
Well, the entire point of the devel repos is to develop Tumbleweed, how else do you expect them to work?
Nothing against devel repos, but from a Leap user perspective, they are quite frustrating, because mostly there is nothing else if you need an application, besides some random home repos. And in the end, if you start compiling several application yourself, by "hand", you start thinking about changing to debian/fedora/whatever, as they often have a standard rpm file for your needed application....
