BT won't do anything I guess. The culprit is the mailing list and its setup (including MTA). (While I don't say it's broken because most of the mailing lists out there behave the same. Still with today's methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC and more recently ARC) it's still a challenge to make it work smoothly.
