I sent the groff-1.21 update together with SUSEConfig.groff removal as requested by FATE#311297 [1]. That means the value /etc/papersize will no longer be rewritten on change of RC_LC_PAPER in /etc/sysconfig/language. This makes UPDATE_GROFF_CONF and GROFF_PAGESIZE variables in /etc/sysconfig/suseconfig pointless, which is not a problem as they are now obsoleted, so removal is just a next step.
Users wants to have a letter as default papersize for groff would just type
echo "letter" > /etc/papersize
What about not installing that file at all anymore and make groff decide paper size based on locale ($LC_PAPER) instead? cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
