On Rocket Lake desktop PC I just did a zypper dup from 15.5 to 15.6. In Plasma I have KDM3 and Konsole3 installed instead of SDDM and Konsole5, but running Plasma session. Normally on initial Konsole3 open is a bash session, but this one is opening /bin/sh instead, where bash history, bash completion and aliases don't work. This can be worked around using the bash command, but the problem is when I select to open a MC tab, it gets opened in sh instead of bash, which makes MC severely crippled. I can open a linux console instead, which runs bash, but it gets the colors backwards. Running any GUI, I want black foreground, black as black gets, on white or virtual white background so I can see without eyestrain. It doesn't help with the MC session problem anyway. In Konsole configuration, "execute" was already /usr/bin/bash, so I have no idea where this "sh" session behavior is coming from. /usr/bin/sh is just a link back to /usr/bin/bash. Anyway, are others seeing behavior like this? Is this something gone wrong in 15.6? I've already run across this before, but was too busy to deal with it at the time, and then forgot where it happened.
